About Dan: Dan B. Allender, Ph.D, is a fly fisherman who was also the founding president of Mars Hill Graduate School (www.mhgs.edu) near Seattle, Washington. He now serves there as professor of Counseling, as well as working as therapist in private practice. Dan is a frequent speaker and seminar leader. He earned his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University. He is the author of To Be Told: Know Your Story / Shape Your Future, How Children Raise Parents, The Healing Path, as well as The Wounded Heart, Bold Love, and Intimate Allies. He and his wife, Rebecca, are the parents of three children.
